Description:
Apostolic Evangel served as the official organ of the Fire-Baptized Holiness Church. It previously operated under the title Live Coals of Fire from 1899 to 1900 and Live Coals from 1902 to 1907. It was published by J.H. King at its 1907 launch in Royston, Georgia. King and J.A. Culbreth and then Culbreth alone continued the periodical in Falcon, North Carolina, from 1909 to 1918. In February 1918, Apostolic Evangel was published by C.B. Strickland and the Falcon Publishing Company. With this final transition, Apostolic Evangel became a vehicle of the North Carolina Conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
