Leaves of Healing was the official weekly magazine of the Christian Catholic Church, a denomination started by healing evangelist John Alexander Dowie and headquartered in Zion, Illinois. The magazine began publication in 1894 and featured news and sermons relating to Dowie’s ministry and the Christian Catholic Church. Dowie was deposed as the church’s leader in 1905, and he died in 1907. Many of Dowie’s followers ended up identifying with the Pentecostal movement.
